He sighs heavily. Alex turned his gaze to Henry who was flabbergasted at what had just happened. Henry had his hand to his chest.
" Was I too harsh on her, Henry?" Alex asked as he placed his hands in his pockets.
" A little, sir,"
Alex nodded, his eyes travelled to the room Avery entered. She skipped the master bedroom.
He combed his hand through his hair. The pain in his heart was incomparable to anything he'd been through.
" What do I do, Henry?"
He looked at Henry with soft eyes. He was ready to make things right for Avery.
Henry gave him a light smile. He placed his hand on Alex's shoulder and said;
" Give her time and be soft with her. Marriage is full of ups and downs. Marriage is sitting in a traffic jam for two hours and still deciding whether you want to get to the destination you had in mind. Know what she likes."
Henry paused, and he studied Alex's expression before he continued.
" Do you still want to get to the destination?"
Alex met his gaze. He was grateful to have someone like Henry by his side.
" Yes I do," he replied with determination in his eyes.
Henry chuckled while shaking his head.
" Good"

Suzzy slammed her door softly and made her way to her apartment.
Her feet were rooted in the centre of her room. A smile tugged on her lips. Five years—five years of not being here—and she missed this place. She dropped her bags as she scrutinised the place. She dashed into the bathroom to soak her body.
She played soft music before she dipped her feet into the water.
" Just right," she muttered to herself before she slipped into it.
