Mr. Sun was really old, but he was still full of spirit. She had nothing to give, and thought that anything purchasable with money, Mr. Sun could buy himself. His demeanor alone set him apart from ordinary people; it seemed his household circumstances were pretty good. Mr. Sun had helped her, and without him, she might have lost her little stall in the park.
She felt the need to show her gratitude by giving something within her means. After much thought, she decided that something handmade would be both presentable and heartfelt.
