"Don't rope me in, boss Nico. I only just found out about this whole thing last night when Xan told me." Ivar lifted his hands up in a surrendering gesture.
"Shut up, Var. If that's the case, I only found out about everything the evening of last night when Max finally called me. I was with the princess all through."
