Angel woke up with a need to walk around, and so she did.
She walked out of her room, and straight past Lewis' room.
Stopping in front of Nico's room, she knocked on the door.
"If you're here with those wicked tablets, go away!" She heard from within, and chuckled.
She pushed the door open, and stepped into the room.
"I said—" his words trailed into silence on seeing it was Angel.
She laughed again, as she shut the door behind her, and proceeded towards his bed.
"Angel," he called her name breathlessly.
Her laughter faltered into a smile, as she sat on the bed.
"I could have sworn you would have left the hospital already," she said to him.
"Don't think I didn't think of it. I should have. Those fools won't just let me do it." He rolled his eyes.
"Because they care about you. Gangsterism aside, how do you feel?" She stared pointedly at him, but with softness around her eyes, so he could see she was curious but also cared about him.
