Ye Fan slapped the table and abruptly stood up, demanding, "Which country concocted this?"
Mo Shang responded, "We don't have concrete evidence on which country is behind it yet."
Ye Fan sat back down.
Mo Shang continued, "The Ebola virus was first identified in 1976 in the southern part of Sudan and in the Ebola River region of Congo (formerly known as Zaire). This virus targets humans and primates, is highly infectious and has an extremely high mortality rate."
"After the initial outbreak that killed over a hundred people, three years later (in 1979), Ebola ravaged Sudan again, resulting in a grisly scene of corpses scattered everywhere. After two bouts of this 'atrocity,' the Ebola virus mysteriously disappeared for 15 years, becoming virtually invisible. In 1994 and 1995, it re-emerged unexpectedly, claiming hundreds of lives. Then, after more than nineteen years, there was a significant outbreak again just recently, causing over seven thousand deaths."
