The Female Demon Lord's expression stiffened, and after a long while, she exhaled helplessly, "I've made up a bunch of plausible excuses which you don't believe, but the real answer seems even more like a brush-off."
"Then why not continue brushing it off?" he asked.
The Female Demon Lord looked at him without energy and white with anger, "If I say that I became the Demon Lord for the sake of a little white cat in the Demon Palace, would you believe that?"
Baili An was stunned for a moment, then chuckled lightly, "I believe you."
