"No, Su, why?" Steve Cohen couldn't understand, "You're a player, playing well on the court, and I'm responsible for giving you a stable lineup, finding the best players for you. Isn't that a match made in heaven? Why do you dislike it so much!"
He wanted to know where he had lost.
Su Wan said, "It's simple, I'm worth 10 billion, but you only want to pay me one million. If all I need to do is play well on the court, why should I stick with your team? Especially... you even expect me to be grateful to you? Do you think this is Wall Street? This is the NBA, my turf!"
After dinner, Herbert called Su Wan that very day:
"Got time, Su? I want to invite you to dinner!"
It may or may not have been a coincidence that Herbert invited Su Wan to the same private room where Steve Cohen had food with Su the day before.
"I've heard some things!"
It was just Herbert and Su Wan in the room.
