"Haaah!"
Boom!
With a loud shout, the ground suddenly trembled and roared like a dragon turning in its sleep. Deep cracks snaked across the earth in every direction.
Watching this from the sidelines, Kakashi Hatake, Sasuke Uchiha, and Naruto Uzumaki all swallowed hard.
In just a few months, how did Sakura get this strong?
"Kakashi-sensei," Sakura said proudly, lowering her hand, "this is the result of my training these past months. I'm still not strong enough, but I'll keep pushing forward."
It had been several months since Team 7 disbanded, and in that time, each of them had been busy on their own paths.
Under Mirai's guidance, Sakura had been training hard—splitting her time between learning the Yin Seal and monster strength techniques, and studying medical ninjutsu at the Konoha Hospital.
Now, she had undergone a stunning transformation.
Today was a rare reunion, with everyone gathering again at the training grounds at Sakura's invitation.
Naruto looked at the confident girl in front of him and couldn't help but mutter,
"Man… remind me never to piss Sakura off. One punch from her and I'd be dead."
Sasuke tilted his head, chin high as always.
"Hmph. Attacks like that can't even scratch my Susanoo."
He paused, then added, "Still… I've got to admit, it's pretty surprising to see the usual deadweight make this much progress."
Sakura huffed and crossed her arms. "Hey! You two really have no sense of respect. Talking behind your elder's back—seriously?"
Naruto and Sasuke exchanged confused glances.
Elder? Who were they talking about?
Seeing their blank faces, Sakura fidgeted slightly, then said,
"Well… Mirai-sama and I are together now. So by rank, that kind of makes me… about the same level as your mom."
She turned to Sasuke with a smug smile.
"Especially you—Mikoto-senpai took me shopping just yesterday."
Sasuke felt his entire worldview crumble.
How the hell did his teammate suddenly become a senior?
But with Sakura staring straight at him, daring him to say something, Sasuke clenched his jaw and muttered, "Auntie Sakura."
"Good boy."
Sakura nodded with satisfaction, her face lighting up with joy.
Over all the years they'd been teammates, Sasuke had turned his nose up at her more times than she could count.
Now? Seeing the proud and aloof Uchiha Sasuke calling her "Auntie"… it was beyond satisfying.
Seeing Sasuke give in, Naruto followed suit. "Auntie Sakura."
"You're a good boy too."
Sakura beamed. "Oh, and don't forget—you both still owe me gifts for the occasion."
Watching her radiant smile, Naruto and Sasuke were full of regret.
Somehow, they just knew Sakura was going to hold this over them from now on. Probably best to keep their distance when possible.
"By the way, Kakashi-sensei," Sakura suddenly turned to their teacher, "Mirai-sama asked me to pass along a message. He thinks you should consider seeing a therapist."
"Before our kids start going on missions while you're still single."
Kakashi let out a long sigh. "It's not that I can't find someone. I just… don't want to."
"If I actually tried, the line of applicants would probably stretch all the way to the Konoha gates."
Just as he finished speaking, a familiar voice chimed in nearby.
"Trying to win the 'Don't Laugh' challenge? I'll admit, that one got me."
"Mirai!" Sakura lit up and grabbed his arm, their intimate closeness prompting Kakashi to roll his eyes.
He wanted to throw out a jab, but the words just wouldn't come.
Damn it. Why did Mirai have to be so ridiculously good-looking? No matter what woman he stood next to, they always looked like a perfect match. What was there to even complain about?
"Alright, lunch is on me today," Mirai announced with a grin. "You guys are basically Sakura's extended family now."
"Let's go eat."
With a wave of his hand, he led Sakura out of the training grounds.
Naruto and Sasuke immediately followed—not for the food, but because sharing a meal with someone like Uchiha Mirai was, in itself, an honor.
Watching her old teammates trailing behind with cautious smiles, Sakura felt an overwhelming sense of happiness.
She really had found someone amazing.
She leaned her head gently on Mirai's shoulder.
Feeling her touch, Mirai couldn't help but smile as well.
There was something deeply satisfying about being the man a woman proudly showed off—no words could fully describe that sense of accomplishment.
Yeah… in this world, strength really did make all the difference.
...
Land of Fire.
Not far from the border, deep in the woods, Hinata Hyuga dashed through the forest with her Byakugan fully active.
Ahead of her, a man in a black cloak was sprinting at breakneck speed.
According to intel, this cloaked man was a highly dangerous fugitive—known for robbing and murdering his victims.
He had over a dozen confirmed kills, each one more gruesome than the last.
His methods made it clear: this wasn't just a criminal. He was a twisted psychopath.
As she gained on him, Hinata's pace quickened.
Suddenly, the man stopped in his tracks and hurled several shuriken embedded with explosive tags.
Hinata slipped past them with fluid agility, staying low and closing the distance in an instant.
"Gentle Fist: Twin Lion Fists!"
Boom!
The black-cloaked man was sent flying from the powerful strike.
Given the overwhelming evidence of his crimes, Hinata had no reason to hold back. Her blow landed squarely on his chest, caving it in entirely.
In just seconds, he was dead.
"Hmph."
She summoned a shadow clone to examine the body and, confirming the mission was complete, prepared to bring him back to report in.
But then—something unexpected.
Dozens of wooden shuriken suddenly flew at her from all directions.
Hinata twisted and weaved through them, dodging each one with precision.
"Wooden kunai?"
She looked down at the harmless projectiles, frowning slightly.
These had almost no lethality. What was the attacker trying to accomplish with something like this?
From behind a nearby tree, a man stepped out, his entire body wrapped tightly in concealing cloth.
He studied Hinata for a moment, then said with admiration,
"Such a pure Byakugan… just as the prophecy foretold. The princess herself."
Then, with utter seriousness—
"Hinata, marry me."
Hinata blinked in disbelief.
Did I just… run into a stalker?!
