Because of her moan, I noticed Hannah taking out her smartphone. I realized she must want to use the flashlight, so before she could, I whispered in Julie's ear, my lips brushing against her skin, "I am going to be invisible from now on..."
I used my INVISIBILITY power to become unseen, my form fading from view. Hannah pointed her phone's flashlight at Julie, and where I had been sitting, the sudden beam of light cut through the darkness. "Mom... where did Jack go?" she asked, her voice thick with surprise and confusion.
Julie hovered slightly in the air, her body trembling with a mix of anticipation and nervousness. Hannah, busy in the kitchen, was oblivious to her mother's unusual levitation as I was invisibly beneath her.
