Erin's tone shifted, her interest piqued as she popped out the question, her voice taking on a curious lilt. "So, what did you see in those dreams of yours having to do with Exus?"
Erin could hear his thoughts, but she couldn't see the dreams themselves, so Dave had decided to tell her. Or maybe just a part of it.
His thoughts then flashed back to the dreams, the memories were hazy, but the image of Exus remained vivid in his mind. He tried replaying the scenes, trying to recall any details that might be relevant. But the more he thought about it, the more elusive the specifics became.
Erin's patience wore thin, and she prompted him again. "So, anything?"
Dave's response was hesitant. "Nothing much," he said finally. "Just a quick glimpse of Exus' blue-colored body, and that's all. I didn't even get to see his face."
Erin didn't say anything after Dave's words. Her interest in the dreams was palpable, and Dave knew that, but there was nothing he could tell her that will help.
