In RAIDS ONLINE, players can increase their Link Force by defeating and devouring Ragnarok Beasts. However, the concept isn't as simple as it sounds—there are specific boundaries depending on the rank of the Ragnarok Beast players must devour to boost their Link Force.
To raise their Link Force from 1 percent to 25 percent, players need to devour Rank E Ragnarok Beasts. It's relatively easy to go from 1 percent to 15 percent, but the progression slows significantly from 15 percent to 25 percent, even if players consume multiple Rank E beasts.
From 25 percent to 50 percent, players must hunt Rank D Ragnarok Beasts. And just like the first boundary, the growth rate slows again midway through this tier.
From 50 percent to 75 percent, only Rank C Ragnarok Beasts will work. Finally, to push from 75 percent to 100 percent, players must devour high-ranking Rank B Ragnarok Beasts.
Only after surpassing all these boundaries will players be able to challenge and devour Rank A Ragnarok Beasts—and complete RAIDS ONLINE.

After their battle against the Rank E Ragnarok Beast Uniboar, Luel and SilverPup continued hunting more Rank E targets until Luel's Link Force returned to 15 percent.
Sure, SilverPup could defeat several Rank C Ragnarok Beasts and let Luel devour them to speed things up—but doing so would keep Luel a noob forever, and SilverPup wouldn't gain anything either.
That's why SilverPup decided they should shift from fighting Rank E to Rank D Ragnarok Beasts, so Luel could build real experience and skills against stronger foes.

[Rank D Ragnarok Beast – Codename: Shadow Hyena]
Right now, Luel is up against a 1-meter-tall Ragnarok Beast that resembles a hyena.
Its jet-black fur, as dark as night's shadow, gives it the codename Shadow Hyena. While smaller than the usual 2-meter Rank D beasts, this one is uniquely dangerous—especially for solo players—because of its illusion-based skill.
—ROOAAARRRRR!—
With another roar, it activates its skill. Suddenly, multiple Shadow Hyenas appear—like ghosts emerging from the void—completely surrounding Luel.
It may look like Luel is facing a pack of them, but in reality, only one is real. The other eleven are illusions conjured by the original using its special ability.
'Charge x Orion Claws'
Luel activates his Charge Skill, unleashing a silver aura that envelops his entire body. But unlike his usual strategy of rushing in immediately, he holds back—and follows up by activating Orion Claws.
Silver claws of energy materialize around his hands. Then, without even taking a step, he strikes.
'Aura Blades'
This combo—Charge plus Orion Claws—creates a new skill: Aura Blades, allowing him to launch slashing energy blades from a distance.
The glowing projectiles hit six Shadow Hyenas in front of him, destroying five, which dissolve into black mist.
When the sixth one doesn't vanish, Luel realizes it might be the real body.
Focusing his attention on it, he prepares to end the fight.
'Charge x Orion Fangs – Morph'
He activates another combined skill.
With Charge and Orion Fangs combined, the silver aura morphs from a wolf's head into a full silver light wolf, which charges forward to devour the Shadow Hyena.
—CRUNCH!—
The spectral wolf tears into the sixth Shadow Hyena with glowing fangs and claws.
That should've ended it.
But then… it turns into mist.
"Behind you, Lucent!"
—ROOAAARRRRR!—
SilverPup's warning reaches him just in time—yet too late to react.
The real Shadow Hyena bites into Luel's nape from behind, decapitating his avatar and instantly killing him.
