He had even prepared the item beforehand; had Yanchuan been planning this all along?

"From before?" Xu Jinzhi was somewhat bewildered, but the next moment, she understood what "from before" meant.
Xu Jinzhi was even more surprised, "Has it really not expired after all this time?"
"No," said Xie Yanchuan.
Xie Yanchuan hadn't checked, but he remembered hearing some nonsensical talk, saying that these things have a shelf life of three to five years.
So Xie Yanchuan knew it wasn't expired, but it had still been kept for quite some time; he'd make do with it tonight and replace it with a new one later.
