According to others, this was directly beneath the new teaching building. When the school constructed this building, due to some issues, this subterranean space, originally intended for unknown purposes, was left behind.
This area had been sealed off except for the sewer entrances and exits; there were no other accessible routes.
And those entrances were impenetrable to the monsters; likewise, the monsters were unable to detect this concealed space.
So staying here was safe.
In such circumstances, people, having no other choice, could only continue to live here for the time being and even feel fortunate to have found such a hiding place nearby; it was certainly better than death.
