I didn't expect to have one million views, to be honest, neither 5.2k people having this in their library.
Thank you, guys. Thanks to the people who take time leaving comments, and the great majority of my ghost readers who are reading in the shadows like good fanfiction goblins lol.

We are halfway through the story of the fic with 16 chapters. Maybe two more, or maybe less. This is approximate.
I'm not the kind of author who will make fanfics with 200+ chapters haha no. The story tends to end quicker if the protagonist is OP and not retarded.
I intend to finish this fic this year and hop on to something new. Always one fanfic at a time because multiple fics are the downfall of authors. This is one thing I learned from all my years being a reader.
Took my time with this chapter because it's a gacha chapter, so...

Temple of Heliopolis – Egypt
The night lasted longer than usual. From his throne suspended in his divine realm, Ra gazed at the firmament with eyes like embers.
"The stars are moving." he said in a dry tone.
Thoth, his silent scribe, lifted his gaze from the scrolls.
"A mistake in the celestial charts?"
Ra shook his head.
"No. They are rearranging...but not in chaotic dance. There's purpose. A new constellation is forming, and it is not the work of any of us."
There is a pause with silence.
"I still have power over the sun. But the stars...are listening to another voice."
His eyes glowed more intensely.
"Probably a new god is about to be born with a similar dominion."
Now he will need to investigate different pantheons to know and understand this possible newborn...
No god was enthusiastic about sharing their respective domain. So a new god at this point in time was... unusual and not welcome.
"Indeed they are changing." Horus said, looking up close to Ra.
New astral bodies and two new stars.
For some reason, the Leo Constellation was shining stronger than ever before.
Ra narrowed his eyes. His eyes glowed more intensely.
"A voice yet without a body. A divinity not yet born... but already claiming a place among the heavens."

Grand Shrine of Ise – Japan
Amaterasu walked alone through the gardens of her divine plane, the night sky stretching above her like a living painting. Her expression, usually serene, now held doubt.
"I can't remember the last time my sun hide something from me." she muttered.
Her sun just rejected her petition to know the name of the one whom the stars favor.
She stopped walking. Two new stars had appeared—one in the east, her territory, and one in the west, crossing the ocean. They shined bright but reflected an unfamiliar glow, as if answering to a new divinity.
"The stars aren't mine. But they always respected the order." she whispered. "Now, they are rewriting themselves. A presence calls to them... and they respond."
A priestess knelt in reverence.
"Shall we prepare, Amaterasu-sama?"
"No." she replied coldly. "We don't know who we're waiting for."
Her golden eyes shimmered with a blend of fascination and resentment.
"Or maybe this individual is walking among us right now."

-Samuel POV-
Alchemy huh? It's an interesting branch...very interesting.
I stole the Excalibur pieces. I was having high hopes, but for what?
Fucking make a true Excalibur.
Fate-level Excalibur.
Not this fucking joke I have in my hands...bah. I put down the pieces.
It's a bit sad the Excalibur of this universe is so fucking ass.
I can do something better with them right now but...sigh. It's too low level.
Time to hop and throw myself into the rabbit hole and learn Alchemy.
Enchantments I already got it. I even made the Stone Mask from Jojo with Yaoyorozu's quirk and I enchanted it, better vision...yep, very simple. I'm planning to give it to Gasper later on to fulfill the prophecy hehe.
Well...guess that having a Fate-level Excalibur is out of my reach for now, unless the gacha gives it to me, but I never count on that.
As a sword enjoyer, I wanted to flex different swords.
Hehe, I imagine saying "EXCALIBAAA" and swinging at Rizevim hehehe.
But meh, I have cool and strong swords.
The Emperor Sword is begging for his debut too.
Well, from now time to...ah? My phone got a notification.

We are friends on the Devilnet. Rias added me too. I looked at her profile and it's true...she is a weeb. Sona's profile is more "mature" but a bit boring. Serafall's profile is, well...pics of her in her magical girl outfit and pics from fan events. Sirzechs' profile is your typical account of a politician—pics of him at community events and shaking hands with other important-looking devils. Bah.
Interesting thing happened yesterday. Azazel added me too...I took a peek at his friend list and a lot of interesting names are there...some with personalized profiles and others with blank profiles looking like abandoned accounts.
I will use that for something later on.
Azazel's profile is chaotic fun, memes from the supernatural world, and he's in a lot of groups—guess that's for his multiple hobbies.
Well, let's see what Sona wants.
SonaS: Lancaster, I have here Xenovia Quarta asking for your direction. Blue hair, Durandal wielder. She was with us in the Kokabiel Incident a couple of days ago. What do I tell her?

Let's see a recount of what happened. Michael at this point is well aware of what happened. Xenovia is excommunicated from the Church for knowing God is dead...she lost her faith and went to Rias on a whim and became a devil.
How the fuck did Michael just let go of the wielder of Durandal? Probably Sirzechs convinced him or something. In the original canon, they are somewhat friends.
What's more, what's more...ah! For some reason, the Church let her keep Durandal. Probably Vasco Strada's influence, she was his successor after all. Or maybe they are more retarded than they already are.
Okay, but this particular situation is new. Damn Butterfly Effect.
Well, if it's a good thing, I can ask her to see Durandal and learn more alchemy!

Longinus...star-themed. Guess the gacha threw something "star" related from this universe.
Transforms into a longsword and a rifle. Can I be a RWBY character then? Haha.
Now I finally have one Sacred Gear. I will probably dual wield it along with my other swords. I was being merciful lately, not going dual wield, but I guess I will escalate hehe.
Systemless too huh. Interesting. Then I can bug the crap out of it.
If not, I will pull out of the system myself.
Almost got an Annihilation Maker oof...well, I will get it anyway later so meh.

Good.
Shardless huh. Guess all the things I get from the gacha are disconnected from systems or higher beings in this case.
Short answer, her power is basically Sherlock Holmes deduction on steroids.
I will get used to the power and I guess nobody will lie to me anymore — or worse.
Tsukauchi from MHA would work too, but this is even better.
Coil would be good to have. Or Contessa.
4 - Holy Water of Life x3 (Solo Leveling)
Sweet. If things go wrong, I can use it, plus the Notch Apple and the other Phoenix Tears I plan to "acquire."
Funny thing is I'm watching from a mile — I will not use any of them for obvious reasons...I'm too strong. But meh, it's good to have them just because.
I will save one to help out Sairaorg when the time comes.

This can be very good for my future base.
The infrastructure of the building or base does not deteriorate no matter how much time passes.

I like it very much. I will put it in my house first.

8 - Rhongomyniad (Fate series)
"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YEAH BABY." I celebrate.
I know I keep saying "it's over" but bro...it keeps getting over and over.
Right now, my strongest weapon — a spear, nonetheless.
I can dual wield spears now. The dual wielding spear meta is always strong.
Thinking about Excalibur and I get its equal.
This is crazy. Insane.
I will beat the crap out of Indra even more in that 1 vs 1.
It's so fucking over.
9 - Oliver Queen / Green Arrow (DC)
Good. My favorite weapons in order are swords, any type of swords except for katanas, spears, and bows.
I will try to make a magical bow, Quincy-style.

10 - Ranni the Witch (Elden Ring)
Oh my god...
Not my first god, but my first demi-god...
And she has affinity/divinity with the stars and the moon.
I got serious thinking about the implications of what will happen if I assimilate her.
Well, for one, even more affinity with the stars...and the sun is a star, some people forget that.
The moon too. If the sun is blazing fire, then the moon as a counterpart is cold. That's why many of her sorceries are like that.
Elden Ring sorceries too.
If her moon is a dark one, then mine will be...a golden one?
Here in DxD there is no one stopping me or the stars, no Radahn—
Wait... Radahn, a golden lion who conquered the stars...
Here it fucking is.
The warm sensation burning in my heart.
An "insight" moment.
Then, in my moment of inspiration, looking at Rhongomyniad and Ranni cards:
"Can I...start my own age of stars?" I said slowly.
After all, I will become a God of Stars.
Rhongomyniad is a pillar from both worlds — Reality and Illusion... is it possible somehow that I start my own age of stars?
Here in the DxD universe, the age of gods is still going... maybe rewrite it somehow... I don't know.
I need to try.
Deciding that, I put Ranni, Tattletale, and Kaku Kaioh in the slots for assimilation.

I can use my divinity, but I will forcefully start an apotheosis, making the world recognize me as a god... basically, no. I need to keep farming feats to have the strongest divinity over the stars.
This needs to be cooked well.
Ranni will be a big leap, and I will keep grinding, of course.
I will have the stars and the moon — basically the king of the sky. Some gods will be fucking mad when I ascend and claim everything for myself lol.

"SAMUEL LANCASTER PLEASE LET ME FOLLOW YOU." Xenovia exclaimed with resolution while she knelt like a knight swearing loyalty.

"Wait...first enter, we will talk about this." I signal to her to follow me.

She nods as she sits down.
After a bit, I sit down in front of her with the tea.
"Thanks." Xenovia said, taking the cup in her hands.
"Okay, so why do you want to follow me?" I ask, going to the point.
"...When Kokabiel said the truth about God...I didn't want to believe it because it would mean all my life was a lie, all my vows and my own religion...all my years in the Church for nothing...but he was right, God is dead and I got excommunicated from the Church for knowing the truth." She said with a troubled expression.
I get it.
I keep looking in silence as she keeps talking.
"Then you came to that fight, the words you said...a-are you still a believer, Lancaster?" She asked me looking for some sort of direction.
No.
"No." I shook my head. I can see she widened her eyes at my response.
"But—" She started with a confused expression.
"Not because he is dead." I cut her off.
"I still believe in the principles of the Bible and his teachings. I believe he was right and I admire him for making that selfless sacrifice for Heaven and us humans." I explained.
"My faith in him no longer exists because I'm betting everything on myself." Only this I will say. Not the part of me becoming a god.
She is looking for direction at this chaotic moment in her life.
After a moment of silence.
"...Betting everything on yourself? What do you mean?" Xenovia said slowly.
"Well, I'm strong...one of the strongest, and I have plans for the future. Life keeps going, Xenovia, even with the death of God humanity will continue living and improving."
With myself as the new God of the Abrahamic Pantheon.
I never intended to do kingdom building or start a new religion along with a new pantheon...because there is already a pantheon without a god.
The pantheon of which I was already a part as a believer in both lives.
I'm not going to turn my back on my origins and pretend I was never a Christian.
I want to replace Yahweh? Of course not.
I will just be the new continuation. The next chapter in the pantheon's history, the new age. The age of stars.

Both Samuel and Xenovia are brutally honest. This means no romcom with 150 chapters only to hold hands.

-How this gacha system works?
A bit of reminder to everyone and I will explain something.
You can't summon characters. (Said this in the first chapter.)
The gacha can give you...characters, abilities, weapons, or items. Just that. No useless things like food or money or other things.
If possible to go to another world if you get a character or ability that allows it.
As I said in chapter 1, this is not a multiverse fic, only DxD. I'm a new author and this is my first fic, so I don't want to bite more than I can chew.
If a gacha character has a different physiology, Samuel does not acquire it but his body becomes as strong as the character.
Like Baran for example, Samuel can do everything that Baran does, even summoning demons from doors like Baran, but he is still human. That's it.
Gacha system is crazy golden finger huh?
I don't want my protagonist to be a weird mix of multiple different physiologies from all fiction.
As you can see, he is pro-human, even wanting to remember his origins when he becomes a god.
The gacha every Sunday will give Samuel 10 rolls. That's it. Everything goes in the gacha.
No gacha points, no tokens, or tickets with different quality.
I was thinking to do a pity system but no, too late for that and too OP even for my taste lol.
