Betty's silent cries grabbed everyone's attention. Camilla, who was seated closest to her, started rubbing her back gently to comfort her.
"It's fine, we understand." She whispered. They have all lost someone close to them to death's bite. The fleeting memory of Abigail resurfaced in Abrielle's mind. A weak sigh left their lips.
Betty was going through a lot of mental stress.
"You can ride with me. It is a 3-day journey. On the morning of the 2nd day, we will ride through Riverdale. I would love to meet your mother." Becky chimed.
Her carriage was originally meant to travel through Betty's town so it didn't change a thing. "Thank you," Betty muttered. She didn't have a ride because she refused to contact her family.
Last night, she had a vivid dream; Hope came to see her with a dagger to her chest. She begged Betty to go home, assuring her she didn't blame Betty.
It wasn't that easy, she knew in her bones now her sister was truly dead.
