Rebecca's eyes were filled with emotions. She recognised Abrielle even if she was dressed in rags. She didn't care how dirty Abrielle was. She pulled her into a hug and poured out her emotions.
"Welcome back home." She cried out. Abrielle returned the hug and just enjoyed the feeling of being in Rebecca's arms.
A day passed after Abrielle returned to the Nightshade family. She was cleaned and fed well. Rebecca kept on forcing her to eat until she could not swallow anything again.
She spent the first day in her room trying to sleep. Since Kaiden's death, Abrielle hasn't been able to sleep properly. Her mind was filled with thoughts about Cedric.
The next morning a light knock woke her from sleep. She stirred away slowly sitting up while rubbing her eyes. "The door is open." She yawned, rubbing her eyes.
