Somewhere else in the forest that was once a city...
"Are you still not going to talk to me?" Emily asked the figure hiding in the trees in front of her.
It had been three months since she had seen Jade last. As if that wasn't bad enough, she could always feel Jade's gaze on her back whenever she went out. It wouldn't happen every day, but when it did, it was apparent.
She would call out to Jade. Asking her to appear, or say something at the very least. Yet, no reply ever came back. In fact, the feeling of being watched would disappear immediately after.
Which left her confused as to whether she imagined it or Jade had left. Either way, Jade was being a real jerk. So what if her state was unstable or whatever? She didn't care, all she wanted was to have a talk with her friend after what seemed to have been an aeon since they last spoke.
