" Your lover is dead now, you have no one but just us, come to me and become one of us again", said Han jum plunging his sword into the rain beaten ground as he extended his arm, Eun Chen who still hugged onto Lee Kwon cold and still body clenching his robe from his back, rage filled her eyes, she gently removed Lee kwons dead body from her body as she laid him gently on the ground, the downpour was still heavy, it didn't look like it was going to stop anytime soon, her eyes were filled with vengeance as she took hold of the sword which laid aimlessly on the floor , her eyes still filled with tears even with the immense pain that plagued her entire body , she still managed to stand up with the support of the sword, she staggered a little as she got back up , she looked drained, she was entirely exhausted.
" You should die,...you should just die...", she said under breath , she clenched her sword with the last bit of strength she had, she charged towards him with her sword , Han jum dodged her attack but Eun Chen didn't give him anytime as she swungher sword aggressively at him but Han jum held onto the sword with his bare hand, his blood staining the sword as it dropped to the ground, " that is enough now.....you can't kill your own master", said Han jum with a smile , Eun Chen quickened breath relaxed, her body soaked from head to toe and she was bleeding immensely, she looked over at Lee Kwon lifeless body, that was right she couldn't kill her master and her master could not kill her, only the blood of the one you cared about could resurrect the phoenix stone , she didn't want to resurrect the phoenix stone , all she wanted was for Lee Kwon live, she dropped the sword she was holding and backed away taking slow and steady steps, Han jum also walked towards her his sword pointed to her, " just come to us", said Han jum with an evil smile, she stopped abruptly , she was near Lee Kwon , Han jum stopped at that instance too, " you don't own me , I...I am not your property, I BELONG TO NO ONE", she yelled , all the pain, anger and frustration burst through every resolve she had left, saying that she took the dagger from her sheath and stabbed herself on the chest directly on the spiral marks , Han jum stood there in shock , not believing what he was seeing , this couldn't be happening, this shouldn't be happening, in the midst of her pain she broke into a small smile of satisfaction seeing the horror in his face , she plunged the knife deeper into her chest making her to splurge out blood from her mouth, she felt herself fall to her knees , she was dying , she looked up to Han jum with a small smile on his face, " this doesn't belong to you ", before Han jum interprete anything she roughly pulled out the dagger from her chest and plunged it into Lee kwons chest, stabbing his heart , she collapsed on his cold lifeless body , blood poured from every inch of her body, her pores, her eyes, nose, mouth and now her chest , she laid there on Lee kwons body , even in his death it felt like she was comforting her, she smiled, now dying didn't seem that terrifying nor painful , the moments they had shared together, from the moment they had met at the market place , from being young master and maid, being master and pupil to people that they could rely on, trust and care, they had become special to each other in every single way, it didn't bother her that she was dying , she was happy that at least she was leaving this world with good memories they both share , she smiled as more blood splurged from her mouth unto his chest , she felt her body slowly start to fade , it felt like she was burning it at the same time she felt no pain, she closed her eyes tightly clenching onto Lee kwons robe , she whispered as a tear slowly slipped away from her eyes, " I .....I love you", she whispered under her breath and then it all went blank and it all went blank , her hand slowly released itself from Lee Kwons robe as her heart finally stopped beating, her body burned every piece of her turned into nothing but ash, Eun Chen or jiyoo the name given by her mother completely faded out of existence , her lunar bracelet fell to the floor.it was gone , she was gone, Han jum body trembled with anger, he bent down frantically but all her blood vanished with her it was neutralized by the rain, Han jum shouted, no trace of her was left , he looked at the dagger that was plunged into Lee kwons chest, her blood was on the dagger, be didn't care if the bastards son blood was on it he will find a way, there was always a way, he was about to pull out the dagger that had been plunged into Lee kwons chest before he could reach forward to touch Lee Kwon, lightning struck the body of Lee Kwon, Han jum fell to the floor with his other companions, Lee kwons body burst into yellow flames, you couldn' t see if he was being consumed by the flames, lightning struck the ground each striking down soilders till a few was left including Han jum himself who had broken into cold sweats , he suddenly remembered what the old woman had said at the shrine " interfering with Lee Kwon and Eun Chen fate would lead to his inevitable doom", it was both their destinies and now he was going to meet his doom, the flame extinguished as quickly as it had come, the rain had stopped abruptly and the place was unusually quit , Han jum clenched his sword, he was trembling , his other soilders held their swords tightly backing away slowly, it was too silent, dangerously silent and then they saw him standing there, his hand held a sword, his whole body was drenched , no sign of injury on his body, his eyes glowed ominously in a brilliant blue the colour of lightning, Lee Kwon clenched his sword tighter as he did that lightning marks began to engrave on the sword, the outline of this mark shine an impecabble gold.
Han jum trembled as he stood up all he could see in Lee kwons eyes was vengeance, he was going to kill him for sure, Han jum abruptly looked at his soilders who were also trembling, " WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR,KILL HIM NOW!", yelled Han jum furiously, all the soilders hesitated before they clenched their swords and charged towards Lee Kwon in his emotionless state, he elegantly swung his sword and struck it to the ground, cracks appeared and it deepened abruptly the ground divided, some of the guards on that lane immediately fell into the crack as they screamed in agony, Han jum was taken aback, the remaining guards dropped their swords attempting to run away in fear but to their shock they couldn't move , Lee Kwon clicked his hand and they were immediately set ablaze, their screams were painful as they begged for mercy but none was heard by the now cold Lee Kwon, within a blink of an eye Lee Kwon was Infront of Han jum . Han jum was startled as he fell to the floor trembling, he couldn't die, he had done nothing yet, this bastard couldn't just kill him but his menancing eyes said it all Lee Kwon really wanted to kill him, he immediately got on his knees and bowed his head just a snap of his finger and he was dead.
" Lee.....Lee Kwon....I know you have been wronged greatly.....I know you crave.... vengeance but reconsider if I am by your side and...and I put in a good word for you, you can be the most powerful King of Gwengochan.....", said Han jum, this man harbored all the powers from the phoenix stone which meant he was literally a god, he had to be on his good side to at least maintain his role in the palace till he figures things out.
Lee Kwon crouched down, " the phoenix stone ", he said in an eeriely calm voice, Han jum looked up as he abruptly took out the phoenix stone from his saddle and immediately gave it to Lee Kwon, Lee Kwon gaze was still cold as he held the phoenix stone in his hand as he brought it to the moonlight, even with his emotionless eyeshis lips pulled up a little at the corner, " all this havoc was caused by this little stone", he said coldly as he closed his hand not putting any pressure into it, opening his hand the stone was crushed into a fine powder, he poured it on the ground making sure that Han jum was seeing it, Han jum gritted his teeth seeing his source of power getting crushed right before his eyes, he was frightened when Lee Kwon looked at him straight in the eye and surprisingly he could not move , " now you are scared", said Lee Kwon his voice void of emotion , Han jum was still trembling, " and even in this situation you still want a position in the palace, tsk...how pathetic", said Lee Kwon coldly. Han jum held Lee Kwon by his leg in desperation, " please spare me...I know I am not to be forgiven but.....", before he could finish his sentence lightning struck the ground very close to him, Han jum didn't have time to recover from the shock as he felt a tightening grip on his neck, Lee Kwon was strangling him and the worst part was he could not move, his inhumane strength and low effort of force was really terrifying, all air was cut off from his throat , his eyes became bloodshot red and his veins popped at every side of his face , " I will make sure everyday of your life will be a living hell", said Lee Kwon with so much resentment in his voice , " you won't die right now .....don't worry, sleep", immediately Lee Kwon said that Han jum passed out and he was foaming from his mouth, Lee Kwon got up surveying his surrounding, dead bodies, burnt bodies, destroyed landscape and lots of blood, it looked like he forgot something or someone , he felt that person was very important to him but he couldn't remember, his head hurt as he tried to remember something, he felt empty like a part of him was lost , his eyes caught on with something in the midst of the disaster, something was glowing at a distance he slowly approached it and bent down to pick it up and saw it was a lunar bracelet. For some reason his heart ached and for some odd reason he began to cry, he sobbed so hard like he had lost someone , the feeling of guilt , pain and regret were present in his sobs , it was so painful , his heart felt so heavy as he held the bracelet close to his chest , he sat in the damp ground and cried agonizingly his head bowed as ge sobbed alone , the man with the powers of a god sat down alone broken as he sobbed for someone that had been forgotten.

In a faraway land , the desert of Gwunjae some merchants were travelling chatting about how good their sales were all of a sudden they saw something from a distance and abruptly stopped, one of them volunteered to check what it was, as he approached it he fell to the floor in shock at what he saw, " a person....it's a person, I think they are dead",he said in a scered voice, how was it even possible for a person to be in this desert all by themselves, they had travelled through here this afternoon and they saw no one here, the other merchant who seemed brave enough approached the figure lying there, as he approached the figure he saw it was a woman, she was dressed in a white satin cloth and she was extremely beautiful, her long black hair spread on the sand bed, her pale white skin had bits of sand on it, the man was stunned by the beauty before him , he bent down slowly as he admired her closely, he checked if she was breathing thankfully she was alive, he looked over at the merchants, " she's alive", he said , " but she needs medical attention, her lips are dry she is probably dehydrated", said the merchants, they agreed as two of the merchants went to off load something's from their cart in order to lay the sleeping beauty.
The merchant once again looked at her, he saw the woman's lips move but he couldn't hear what she was saying, he curiously bent over to hear what she was saying, " Lee Kwon", she muttered softly as a tear silently slipped from her eye.
