Kingsly Scott's face tightened visibly as he read the document's contents.
After a long while, he forcefully tossed the document aside, the metal part of the folder clattering loudly against the floor.
Helen Hayes held her breath even more, not daring to make a sound.
"How is Liam handling the situation?"
Kingsly's voice was cold and devoid of warmth, making Helen even more nervous as she carefully replied, "Liam is following the CEO's instructions. The Franklin Group's stock price should drop within three days."
"Good. The day after the stock price falls, have Liam proceed with the plan as discussed."
"Yes."
The atmosphere was quiet for a moment. Seeing no further instructions from Kingsly, Helen prepared to leave.
However, Kingsly spoke again, "Has Dr. Tomson returned to the U.S.?"
Helen immediately stopped in her tracks, answering, "Not yet."
