"Mr. Xu, let me carry that for you."
Xiao Chen saw Xu Jiadong getting out of the car with the statue and hurried forward to take it.
"Don't touch it."
Xu Jiadong immediately roared the rebuke, startling Xiao Chen, who quickly withdrew his hands.
Realizing his attitude might have been a bit harsh, Xu Jiadong softened his tone, "I have asked for this to be brought here; it shouldn't be touched by outsiders."
"Mr. Xu, I didn't understand, I was presumptuous, I'm really sorry." Xiao Chen quickly apologized upon hearing this.
"It's fine, come up with me." Xu Jiadong said.
"Ah? Me?" Xiao Chen didn't react at first.
Before, he was never allowed to go up.
"Uh-huh."
Xu Jiadong nodded, not offering further explanation, and started walking forward, with Xiao Chen quickly following behind.
When they reached the elevator, Xiao Chen pressed the button. The elevator doors opened, and Xiao Chen gestured for Xu Jiadong to enter first.
But Xu Jiadong said, "Get in."
