But before Cedric Shaw could respond, young Kane Bennet couldn't hold back the fury boiling inside.
His face flushed red, eyes glaring, as he pointed a finger straight at Carlos's nose and shouted loudly,
"How did he get released?
He's put several of our people in the hospital, some are still unconscious!"
Just as Kane finished his words, the Bennet Estate attorney behind him rushed forward, his face serious and his tone threatening.
"Attorney Shaw, you better think this through.
The consequences of obstructing justice are extremely serious; you might even lose your license as a lawyer!"
From the viewpoint of this Bennet Estate attorney, Carlos's public brawl and the severe injuries he caused should have made it impossible for him to be bailed out, no matter how capable Cedric Shaw might be.
"Kane, have you really thought this through? Are you sure you want to press charges against me?"
