Brother Tim replied shakily, "It's true Isla sent me to kidnap you, but we also agreed that after it's done, she'd go abroad with me, so I had no idea she wanted to marry Edwin Blake and be Madam!"
"I always thought she'd go abroad with me, that's why I decided to be with him, otherwise would I be a fool, willingly helping her?"
At this point, Brother Tim's lovestruck nature seemed to awaken.
He vented at Isla, "After what you said, I finally see it clearly; she was using me!"
"So you didn't know Isla was using you, and that's why you'd stupidly come over?"
Ivy asked.
Brother Tim replied naturally, "Obviously, I didn't know. Who would be the fool to help someone they like clear the path only to watch them marry someone else? Am I an idiot?"
