Chapter 191 - Chapter 590: The Third Hokage and the Elder Council Are Publicly Warned

You can do that?

Everyone in Konoha knew that the Sharingan was a dangerous thing—so much so that Senju Tobirama had always been wary of the Uchiha.

The Third Hokage and his generation had used that as an excuse to keep the Uchiha in check in various ways.

Only now were they realizing just how terrifying the Sharingan truly was.

Inside the conference room, many people started looking at Uchiha Fugaku with an odd expression.

His face darkened.

A bunch of ignorant fools.

Takuya scoffed and spoke up to defend the Uchiha.

"The Uchiha can awaken their Sharingan or evolve it through strong emotional stimuli, but it's not absolute. It's not as if every time they see a corpse, they suddenly awaken the Mangekyō Sharingan."

"If that were the case, the Uchiha would have had Mangekyō Sharingan users everywhere by now. Do you think you'd still be sitting here comfortably?"

If the Uchiha had truly been capable of producing Mangekyō users en masse, they wouldn't have needed the Hawk Faction to stir up trouble. The old patriarch of the Uchiha Clan would've already taken action.

Uchiha Fugaku's father had never been one to sit still.

But in the end, it was futile. As powerful as the Uchiha were, they simply couldn't stand against the entirety of Konoha.

Saying this, Takuya cast a meaningful glance at the Third Hokage, Koharu Utatane, and the others.

"Ahem!"

Realizing their own thoughts had veered off track, the Third Hokage coughed to cover it up, pretending nothing had happened.

Koharu and Homura Mitokado also lowered their heads as if they had never been looking at Fugaku with judgmental eyes in the first place.

"Enough."

Tsunade slammed the table in frustration.

"Regardless of anything, the Uchiha are still part of Konoha—they are our comrades. I don't want to see any more of this discrimination."

"All of you, don't forget the contributions the Uchiha have made to this village. You cannot condemn an entire clan just because of one man—Uchiha Madara."

Among all the clans of Konoha, the one that had contributed and sacrificed the most was undoubtedly the Senju Clan.

And right behind them, it was the Uchiha.

Unfortunately, the Second Hokage was Senju Tobirama, and Madara's defection had caused massive turmoil, which led to the systematic suppression of the Uchiha.

Putting Madara aside, in terms of what the Uchiha had done for the village, no other clan could compare—except the Senju.

And even Tsunade was phrasing things mildly.

Takuya shook his head, tapping his fingers against the table as he issued a warning to the people in the room.

"Just so we're clear, I'm not here to clear the Uchiha's name."

"I'm saying this—aside from the Senju Clan, name one other clan in Konoha that has contributed more than the Uchiha."

"Stop with your so-called 'threat theory.' You keep treating the Uchiha like an anomaly—use your brains for once. How many Uchiha have died for this village? How much have they sacrificed?"

"And don't bring up Senju Tobirama. He was just a fool—a fool who got scared of Uchiha Madara."

"Did you have to say it like that?"

Tsunade's face darkened as she glared at Takuya.

Tobirama's policies toward the Uchiha had been extreme, but calling him a fool? That was still her granduncle—the village's Second Hokage.

Takuya ignored her and continued.

"Drop the 'threat theory' nonsense. If this kind of discrimination happens again, then prepare for your own clans to be investigated and targeted."

"I, Takuya, am putting it out there. If you don't believe me, try me."

I'm so sick of this. Haven't you people had enough already?

Takuya wasn't trying to exonerate the Uchiha—he simply hated this kind of behavior.

Not to mention, their treatment of the Uchiha indirectly affected him too.

I used to ignore it, but if this keeps happening, I'll flip the table. I don't care who you are—I'll come after you instead.

"Third Hokage, your own clan isn't exactly clean, so it would be best to stop here. If this goes any further, things could get ugly for everyone."

"And as for the two Elder Representatives—do I need to spell out what your clans have been up to all these years?"

"..."

The Third Hokage had expected a warning, but not a direct callout.

Koharu and Homura's eyes widened in shock, staring at Takuya in disbelief.

How dare he?

Not only had he warned them in front of everyone, but he had called them out by name.

He was practically telling the entire room that they had engaged in shady dealings.

Some things are fine when left unspoken, but once you say them out loud, you're the one at fault.

He's as bold as ever… but why do I kind of want to laugh?

On the surface, Uchiha Fugaku looked grim, keeping his head down in silence.

But inside, he was laughing his ass off.

Everyone in the conference room exchanged awkward glances, unsure how to respond.

"And as for the Hyūga Clan—you let yourselves get pushed into harassing the Uchiha like a bunch of fools?"

"You really just ran in headfirst? No wonder the Hyūga Clan has been declining."

"Ahem!"

Hyūga Hiashi coughed uncontrollably.

He never expected his clan to get called out too.

"Alright, now's not the time for finger-pointing," Tsunade interjected.

Seeing that Takuya was getting more and more aggressive, she had to step in.

Can you tone it down a bit? If you keep this up, no one will be able to save face.

Takuya merely spread his hands and shrugged, signaling that he was done.

Tsunade rolled her eyes at him.

"Moving on—the one thing we can confirm is that the Rinnegan has indeed fallen into Madara's hands. Even if he didn't take it himself, someone under his control did."

"Our intelligence suggests that Uchiha Obito was the one who acted. So how exactly was the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path summoned away?"

"Because summoning it requires the Rinnegan."

That made everything clear.

The Rinnegan in Iwagakure had been taken.

And then, the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path was summoned away.

"Which means their next target will be Kumogakure?"

Tsunade was getting a headache.

"Send word to Kumogakure immediately—warn them to prepare for a potential attack by Uchiha Madara."

No matter what, Konoha couldn't just sit idly by.

Even if they couldn't send forces to guard Kumogakure, they could at least issue a warning to the Third Raikage.

As for how Kumogakure would respond, that was their own business.

Even if Konoha wanted to help, Kumogakure might not accept it.

"If Madara really attacks Kumogakure… can they stop him?"

The Third Hokage finally voiced the question that was on everyone's mind.

When Madara defected, not even Tsunade's generation had been old enough to fight him.

The Battle of the Valley of the End?

They hadn't even been qualified to watch it.

All they could do was sense the distant shockwaves and witness the battlefield's devastation afterward, which had looked like a natural disaster had torn through it.

The Third Hokage wasn't sure if Kumogakure could handle it.

Why are you all looking at me?

Unconsciously, as he asked the question, the Third Hokage turned to Takuya.

And as if on cue, everyone else turned their gazes toward him as well.
