'And did Farini agree?'
It only took a few minutes for me to get an answer—a direct, high-priority communication line was currently open between me and Whisper, and the messages were short.
'Yes, Father. Gladly! Please, wait for the rest of the report on the state of the capital city.'
I relaxed in my chair, sipped on my tea, and did just that. I had dozens of other reports to read, so there was plenty to do.
The reports were mostly compiled from messages of Agents located closer to Hive Supremo—in the human province originally belonging to Farini, and the one with the highest population of bees.
The integration process was doing well there.
The preachers appointed by Farini were spreading the new myths about bees and "divine guardians" for a while now, and people were eager to believe whatever gave them hope for a better future.
