Selina smiled sweetly. "If I weren't here, where did you think I'd be, Mrs. Perry? Did you really think I couldn't get into the inpatient ward?"
Amelia's expression soured. "Who gave you permission to enter?!"
"Well," Selina said lightly, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear, "there was indeed a doctor at the door who said I didn't belong here. Turns out Logan found out Dr. Butler had been bribed to keep me out. Makes sense, doesn't it? Mrs. Perry, wouldn't happen to be the one who paid him, would you?"
Amelia stiffened. "Y-you're making things up!"
Angelica quickly jumped in, feigning innocence. "Aunt Amelia hasn't left my side. She didn't have time to bribe anyone. Selina, you must've misunderstood."
She sighed dramatically. "Selina, you really shouldn't speak to an elder like this, even if you're upset."
