"This should be the place," Shiro said as he entered a room labelled as 301.
"Hey. Over here." A white hair man with glasses called out to Shiro as he approached Shiro as soon as he entered.
"You know, I am surprised that you are considered ready for the Chunin exam this early." He said in a friendly tone.
It was Shiro's first time meeting him but he knew who that person was.
He was Kabuto. A ninja who was from the same orphanage as him.
"Lord Danzo said that you didn't have any partners for the exam. This is Yoroi Akado. Your fellow teammate is alongside me. You don't have to be uncomfortable about having to share a life-or-death situation with us. After all, we are all from the same village. Isn't it right?" Kabuto said to Shiro.
That guy is a bit strange. But he does not seem to be a bad guy. Shiro thought in his mind.
Lord Danzo still didn't trust us much. He didn't tell us anything about this kid's capabilities other than the fact that he was able to defeat a few Chunin from a small village. It would be troublesome if he fails to pass the exam. Kabuto thought in his mind.
"That sword. It looks a little strange. Isn't it?" Kabuto asked as he saw the Dragon sword that Shiro was carrying around his wrist.
"Oh. This is something that I received from one of my former opponents. The shape is a bit weird but it's still a great sword ." Shiro replied but he didn't go into detail about the sword abilities.
"I even have to carry an extra sword because of how inconvenient it is to use in certain situations." He said as he pointed to the Katana that he was carrying on his back.
"I see," Kabuto said.
He didn't know much about the sword and trying to dig info about it right before an important mission would make him stand out if he got into an argument with a small child like Shiro.
"Oh. You are also here."
Shiro turned his head as he heard a familiar voice.
It was Rock Lee. A familiar face that he does not mind seeing.
Shiro is not very fond of him and thinks that he is a little annoying but he would prefer meeting him over someone like Ino or Kiba.
"Since you are meeting a friend excuse me for a second," Kabuto said as he walked away.
"We meet again," Tenten said as she waved at Shiro.
"..." Neji didn't say anything but stared at Shiro for a few seconds.
"You have become much stronger." Neji then said.
"I have been training hard," Shiro replied.
"But be prepared. Because I am not planning to lose." He said while giving Shiro a small smile.
"MY NAME IS UZUMAKI NARUTO AND I WON'T LOSE TO ANY OF YOU LOSERS. GOT THAT." Naruto loudly exclaimed.
"He is too high-spirited. Maybe you went too Easy on him Lee." Neji said as he took a short glance at Naruto who had just made a scene.
How did he even gain such confidence? From what I have seen he is one of the worst Shinobi that graduated from the school. Shiro thought in his mind.
He has only seen the worst aspects of Naruto so he does not think Naruto as a threat that should be elimated from the exams as fast as he can.
At that moment while everyone's attention was on Naruto a Shinobi jumped out of the crowd and threw a few Shuriken at Kabuto.
The projectiles missed but the Shinobi was able to close the distance between him and Kabuto and was able to throw a punch at him.
Kabuto doged the attack but despite him dodging the attack and not making any contact with the unknown Shinobi an attack still landed on him.

Kabuto fell to the ground and threw up some water.
Naruto and his team who were near Kabuto ran towards him to help him out.
"Kabuto. Are you okay?" Naruto shouted.
"Are you alright?" Sakura supported him.
"Yeah, I am fine. Thanks." Kabuto replied.
"What a disappointment? I thought we might have trouble since you are our senior but it seems four years was not enough." The one who attacked Kabuto said as his two teammates accompanied him.
"A sound attack?" Shiro noted.
"I see. That's how he was able to land an attack." Neji said.
"Then that must be a sound Ninja," Tenten added.
But before the fight escalates any further a group of Shinobi showed up in the room.
"Quiet down. You worthless bastards." The Shinobi who was leading the group yelled out.
"Sorry to keep you waiting. I am Ibuki. The examiner for the first exam." He said as he introduced himself.

The fight was broken up with Ibuki's arrival and the first test started.
It was a written test that gave you nine questions with the tenth question only being given after a certain time limit have passed.
Shiro was able to answer all 9 questions with some difficulties based on the books that he has read and the knowledge that he possess.
Not all of them are correct but it didn't even matter in the end.
After all despite being told by the examiner that the test was a written one but the real test was the test of character.
All the participants have to do is accept the optional tenth question.
However, they were threatened with the failure of their whole team if they refused the question or the option of always not being able to be promoted to Chunin in their entire life if they accepted the question but somehow got the answer wrong.
That is at least what the examiner said.
But the truth is just accepting the question is good enough to pass.
This was to elimate weak will people that was unwilling to take a risk, normally this will leave only the most strong will Shinobi behind.
But this year it was different this year there exists a student who was able to motivate everyone in the class with his speech.
All the People who didn't immediately give up and tried to hold out for a while were able to pass as a student publicly claimed that he was not afraid of failing the task and not being able to be a Chinin in his life, he will still become a Hokage and will never gave up on his dreams.
He was Uzumaki Naruto. The person who claims that he will beat everyone in the exam.
