Celina watched Rowan's shocked expression for over ten seconds before walking away from him, her steps steady, not once turning back. He reached out to her, but it was useless.
"Wait, Celina!"
"Hold on a minute,"
His voice, full of regret, couldn't reach her anymore.
"She got into the academy just because of him..." Rowan muttered to himself.
His chest tightened. He knew what kind of person Celina was before. She's strong, vengeful and mysterious. He was sure that she was even more terrifying than she used to be. If she had entered Ashenfield Academy just for revenge on Prince Cedric, then Rowan knew things would only get darker from here.
"There's no way she'll just come here to kill the prince, right? Cedric has no idea what's coming for him. Will I even be able to protect him?"
