Elder Penelope's pov,
It was midnight, and I was in my human form and was sitting on the ground and staring at the dark sky that was filled with bright beautiful stars.
My entire body, including my face, was covered in different colors of blood, making my body stink a lot like last Tuesday.
In the place where I sat, up to 40 wild beasts and hybrid creatures in total surrounded me. They had all been defeated and had died by my hands and the warriors.
It took me hours to fight the hybrid creatures and the wild beasts, and when I saw that I would not be able to kill them all by myself, I hurried back to the border while the bastards went after me.
Before I even arrived at the border, the warriors who were stationed in the watchtower immediately alerted the warriors, who then prepared for war.
Currently, I am outside the border, because that's where the battle happened. We didn't allow those bastards to invade our border.
But, that isn't the least of my worries now.
