LOGAN'S POV
"Trust me, Dad," I said with a knowing smile. "His brain would never even go there. He wouldn't think messages stay in 'recently deleted.' His mind doesn't work like that."
Dad nodded, finally letting me take the lead. I told him exactly what to press. "Go to Messages. Then check Recently Deleted. Scroll slowly, don't rush."
And just like I predicted… there it was.
The deleted message. The address.
Boom.
My lips curved into a soft, satisfied smile.
"Perfect," I whispered to myself like I had just cracked a top-secret code.
"Now save it," I told him. "Forward it back to your messages or mine. We can't lose that address again."
He followed my instructions without saying much. Once it was saved and double-checked, I repeated myself again, louder this time.
"Perfect," I said with a little pride.
