Aurora James - POV
My head was pounding like someone was playing a drum inside, while I opened my eyes with great difficulty as I stared into the darkness. I tried to move, but the rogue had tied my hands to the back, and I was lying flat on an uncomfortable surface that constantly moved.
There was absolutely no room for me to stretch my legs or turn around as I used my hands to feel the insides of what looked like a box. "What is this place?" I asked Lily, but all I got was a hollow silence. "Lily, can you hear me?" I tried again, but there was absolutely nothing. It felt like I had lost my wolf.
I tried to kick the box, but that only made a lot of noise. My heart rate spiked while my breathing came out shallow. The darkness was slowly getting to me, and being confined in such a small space isn't helping me either.
