[~1600 Words]
Takuya Fujiwara, the Inspector of the Metropolitan Police Department, rose early to begin his day at the office.
At first, police Inspectors didn't have their own offices; they just had designated spaces within the department.
In order to aid Takuya in his case-solving and contributions to law enforcement, they arranged a private office just for him.
Within his exclusive workspace, Takuya could conduct activities without fear of discovery.
If he had a lover, he could indulge in intimate conversations with her or explore the depths of life within the privacy of his office.
Although Takuya actually did have a girlfriend, it is highly likely that she would object to such activities.
And his one of the next targets, Sonoko Suzuki, being from a powerful background as the owner of the Suzuki Group and one of the largest international conglomerates, would undoubtedly face challenges in entrusting herself to Takuya.
Not to mention, even at home, Sonoko Suzuki would probably grapple with the decision of whether or not to become his girlfriend.
Takuya crossed his legs, resting his hands on the back of the chair as he leisurely passed the time.
There were no pressing matters for him to attend to that day, and he was not eager to solve the case.
He had set a personal rule for himself - to resolve the case within three to five days.
The remaining time would be devoted to resting and idling away.
Work? What work? Takuya felt fatigued from his regular duties; therefore, it was essential that he take proper rest and relaxation.
Occasionally, he could skip work entirely and go on dates with Eri Kisaki.
This is how Takuya operates - a man who has successfully solved numerous cases in succession and brought honor to the Metropolitan Police Commissioner.
He is highly efficient at his job, which allows him the luxury of taking breaks when needed.
Moreover, there are suitable excuses for skipping work - such as going out to investigate cases.
"Officer Fujiwara, someone is seeking you outside," announced an passing officer.
Takuya swiftly lowered his legs and retrieved the case file, appearing completely focused on the task at hand. He could not allow others to discover his laziness.
"Who's asking to see me?" he inquired.
"They are two high school students named Mouri Ran and Suzuki Sonoko who claim they want to speak with you about something," replied the informant.
Mouri Ran and Suzuki Sonoko - Takuya's curiosity was piqued.
What could possibly bring these two girls together, given that they had no apparent connection or relationship? Why would they seek him out?
"Bring them to my office," ordered Takuya with certainty.
It seemed highly unlikely that Mouri Ran and Suzuki Sonoko were somehow related or that there was any genuine link between the two girls.
Takuya Fujiwara sat in his office, wondering why Mouri Ran and Suzuki Sonoko had sought him out.
What could they possibly want? He decided to play along, curious about their intentions.
"What exactly do you want from me?" Takuya asked the girls as they entered his office.
Ran was too embarrassed to speak up on her own accord; however, Sonoko took charge and approached Takuya fearlessly.
"Officer Fujiwara, we actually require your help with a small matter," she began. "Do you have time?"
Takuya's interest was piqued. As a public servant, it was his duty to lend a helping hand whenever possible. He agreed to assist them.
"Oh? You want my help?" he replied, though his mind still lingered on thoughts of Mouri Ran and Suzuki Sonoko.
The girls were not sisters; they were as close as siblings and had been lifelong friends.
Perhaps in the future, Takuya will have the chance to bring both girls together on the same bed, their hands intertwined as they softly moan for his pleasure.
Suzuki Sonoko hailed from a prominent background - her family owned the largest conglomerate in Suzuki Group and was also one of the largest international corporations.
Promotions and salary increases were not far-fetched dreams for her; however, when the time came, Takuya would need to deal with Suzuki Tomoko, Suzuki Sonoko's mother.
This was a serious matter indeed.
"Officer Fujiwara," began Sonoko again, "One of our classmates got wrongly accused of stealing while working part-time. We're asking for your help to find the real thief."
"Working? Can minors even work?" Takuya asked, feeling sorry for the people living during this era who seemed to be unaware of how to protect their youth.
Although at times Takuya himself grumbled about the Minor Protection Act, he could not condone child labor. Mouri Ran attempted to explain the situation.
"Officer Fujiwara, there are always people who opt for part-time work," she said with a small smile, "since some families struggle financially."
Takuya picked up his coat nearby and stood up.
"Well, since you asked for my help, I'm happy to help you look into this issue.," he declared.
The offer of help was nothing more than an excuse to build relationships; one never knew when such connections might prove useful in the future.
Perhaps one day, Takuya would need two people to aid him in giving birth to his children.
"Thank you, Officer Fujiwara," Sonoko said with a smile, clearly pleased by his Okay.
The girls led Takuya out of the office and into his car - a Porsche. He watched as Sonoko admired the vehicle's beauty.
"Porsche? Your taste in cars is truly top-notch, Officer Fujiwara" she commented.
Takuya's expression remained unchanged; he was actually being praised by Suzuki Sonoko, with Mouri Ran present.
This car had been gifted to him by Eri Kisaki - Ran Mouri's mother. Moreover, the Suzuki Group, Suzuki Sonoko's family, would not even bat an eye at owning a Porsche.
"Let´s go," Takuya said as he started the engine and drove towards the supermarket.
With a warm smile and an expression of deep gratitude, Sonoko uttered her heartfelt thanks to Officer Fujiwara.
The happiness that shone from her expression was evident, as she had taken the first step in inviting Officer Fujiwara, aiming not only for his aid with their classmates but also to build a more intimate connection.
Upon arrival, they found Kudo Shinichi standing opposite the boss alongside another female student. "Boss, do not worry," Kudo Shinichi declared confidently, "I will find the true thief."
Kudo Shinichi was devastated; in just a short span of time, Takuya Fujiwara had become renowned and even overshadowed him. In the past month, very few people had sought his help.
"Shinichi," Sonoko asked him with a trace of doubt, "I've secured Officer Fujiwara's help, so you can rest easy knowing he'll handle this matter swiftly."
She possessed unwavering faith in Officer Fujiwara's abilities. It was worth noting that her sentiments towards Shinichi had been strained for quite some time.
With a hint of annoyance and a touch of indignation, Shinichi questioned Officer Fujiwara. "How did you happen to find me?" he questioned. "Didn´t I make it clear that I wanted to tackle this case by myself?"
When Kudou Shinichi saw Officer Fujiwara, his face clouded with annoyance and a feeling of anger, as this person's mere presence felt like a challenge to his own skills and authority.
It was clear that Sonoko had taken deliberate action in inviting Officer Fujiwara to this location, a move that seemed to serve as an implicit testament to the latter's exceptional abilities and expertise.
You could say that her actions were based on the belief that Officer Fujiwara had skills that were greater than or on par with Kudou Shinichi's.
Throughout this duration, Kudou Shinichi had been experiencing a sense of frustration and resentment as his efforts were continually overshadowed by those of Officer Fujiwara, thus preventing him from assuming the lead role in many investigation.
He had already harbored feelings of discontentment and annoyance.
Kudou Shinichi was really annoyed and unhappy when he learned that Fujiwara had been asked to take part in this case, which would further reduce his own influence.
Directly addressing Kudou Shinichi, Sonoko asked a question that appeared aimed at easing his worries.
"Kudou," she questioned with a blend of innocence and logic, "shouldn't we reach out to the authorities whenever an accident occurs? Is it okay to involve others in this investigation?"
Caught up in the complex relationships of her two friends, Ran Mouri experienced a wave of helplessness.
On one hand, she harbored deep affection for Kudou Shinichi as a close companion; on the other, there existed an undeniable history of emotional attachment and romance shared between them.
"Officer Fujiwara, I'm going to trouble you today. We always lose things here, and we don't know if it's a thief or a workers stealing. I hope you can help me investigate clearly."
The supermarket owner saw Officer Fujiwara, and looked forward to closing the case soon.
No detective has solved it until now. If no evidence, they would definitely have sent the working student to prison.
Sure enough, one should rely on a policeman.
Kudou Shinichi was hit hard emotionally, and recovered only after a while. Officer Fujiwara was already so famous, and he was easily suppressed before solving the case itself.
[That´s all for now]
