Elisa thought to herself as she, tucked herself into the farthest booth by the window, the smoothie in her hands barely touched. She stirred the pink froth absently with her straw, her mind anywhere but present. Infact she was trying to dissociate from negative chaos going on inside her head.
Still nothing from Cael. And she was not closer to knowing what her answer should be.

She told herself he was busy. Busy with business dealings, pack responsibilities, maybe even guilt from asking her to be his woman despite not being mates. But the silence still stung. She would have lost her mind if the void that had been left by that silence, wasn't been filled a little.
