Her heart raced, millions of negative thoughts swirling in her mind, but she didn't falter. Heading straight inside the car, she commanded the driver to follow suit.
"Layla, wait! We're coming too." Frank's distant voice could be heard, but the driver had already left the compound, taking Layla's command as a priority, considering she was Michael's lover and they didn't want to pay for not following her direct order.
"Dammit!" Frank cursed under his breath. Taking another sedan, he went straight after her while he gestured to Andrew to join them in a different car. Frank pressed hard on the gas, the car's wheels spinning, leaving a smoky trail as it left the Specter Mansion.
