Rose was hyperventilating when the headlines flashed over the news channel. "The Specter Mansion is left in ruins." She knew very well David wasn't behind it… however, she had a very big reason to worry—especially about Layla.
"Since she's not listening, I'll abduct her and have a chat now," Rose muttered under her breath when she confirmed Layla was alive.
Meanwhile, Michael got shifted to a different prison finally; the atmosphere was far more human and less adverse. Unfortunately, Layla wasn't allowed to have another meeting with him, leaving her disheartened.
"Okay, so I've made my case, and we're having our first hearing next week. Till then, I request you do not entertain any reporters, media, or strangers wanting to have a chat with you." Stephen let her know about the possible ulterior motives they might have, especially if they were working for Mr. Frankfurt, the prosecutor.
