Feeling the rune in my hand, I then felt a sharp pain in my head. Looking at the small threads, I knew what was happening and quickly let go. What the artifact was doing right now was probing and examining the potential and bloodline of the participants.
A few seconds after the orb was finished, I felt the pain in my head go away. Just at that moment, I grabbed tightly onto the rune in my pocket.
The next second, I was standing in a black void. All around me was nothing but darkness and no matter how far I looked, there was just the black void.
Closing my eyes, I let out a breath.
When I opened my eyes again, I was sitting in a chair looking at a beautiful field. However, blue panels appeared in front of me.

"Huh?" Henry looked at the screen in disbelief.
"No, that should be impossible! Father assured me! He said that it would work!" Henry shouted in the void to be met with silence, "It wasn't supposed to be like this! I was supposed to be great! I can't die! I still have many beautiful girls to conquer."
Henry kept shouting nonsense into the void.
Then, the next second, his soul started to disappear.
'Was it him?'
During the ceremony, he saw Aaron look at him with a murderous look..
But that was his final thought before the rest of his soul was ripped to shreds.

I then looked at my Order.
[Order: 0]
Looking at the black rune in my hand, I then thought about activating its effect.
[Effect of [Withering Rune] has been activated! What stat would you like to apply it to?]
I then mentally clicked on my [Order].
[Your [Order] will be -1, are you sure?]
I mentally clicked [Yes]
After I mentally accepted my stats, causing a few red system panels to appear in front of me.
[Warning: Your [Order] is 0! Do you wish to continue?]
I then mentally clicked [Yes] again. Taking a breath, I looked at the panel that had a loading screen.
Order was one of the most important attributes. While it did dictate system functions, it also dictates how artifacts, classes, and skills function. Here's an example: say if someone was cursed by another player. Let's say that player had an Order of 10. A player who would want to dispel that curse would need to have a greater order than 10 to dispel that curse.
Not just that, they also dictate level caps.
Take my father, for example, when he first awakened, he got an Order of 3. With 3 points, he could only level up to level 30. If they can't get their Order above three, then they can't level up after 30, and increasing their stats would be much harder.
There were only 3 methods that were well-known to players to increase their stats.
Leveling up: When you level up, your points will increase randomly; however, you can only level up in a dungeon
Training: While they will only increase your physical stats, it is an increase, nevertheless
Artifacts: In dungeons, you can also obtain equipment to increase certain stat points
Order was an entirely different beast, though. However, I knew a few ways to increase it.
This was a gamble, but that's why I increased my luck to the max because I really needed it. Looking at the loading screen, I watched while holding my breath and crossing my fingers.

[Error]
[Glitch Found!]
Seeing that I remembered what glitches were.
Like any system, the GAIA system had its fair share of glitches. And these glitches can be exploited to give the players immense benefits.
However, these glitches could only be used once.
Once a player initiates a glitch, the GAIA system would instantly try to fix it. Sometimes this can also lead to a player's death.
There are 2 types of glitches.
The most common glitches are "Direct-type Glitches". These glitches affect stats or levels. For example, there was this one player who didn't have any mana. However, thanks to a glitch, he was able to get an infinite amount of mana. However, that didn't last long, only 5 days later that dumbass was killed by a few hundred players most of them female.
The Second type is indirect-type glitches, which are just some loopholes in system missions and stuff like that. These can allow you to complete missions easily or maybe go into a boss room in a dungeon without other monsters.
That being said, any type of glitch relies on luck.
A lot of luck.

[Unable to solve issue…Contacting GAIA]
Suddenly, the bright blue sky parted, revealing a dark void. From the void, a pair of lime green eyes looked at me.
[GAIA would like access to your status. Do you want to grant Access?]
[Yes/No]
I then started to laugh before I clicked no. I watched as the eyes in the sky widened, however, it was too late.
"Command code 071111100,"

[Order recognized!]
Then another panel appeared in front of me before I spoke, "initialize code 076111103 079117116"
[Would you like to log out?]
[Yes/No]
Clicking [Yes] again, I continued speaking, "transfer status to System 072068,"
[Transferring status to System 072068…]
"Username: Hades, Password: Undertaker," I said as my heart beat increased.

[Welcome back to HADES [Admin]!]
Suddenly, in front of me, the once blue status window turned black with blue text.

I looked back into the sky, where the eyes narrowed before disappearing back into the black void. The black circle that appeared in the sky suddenly disappeared, and then the sky reverted back to a pale blue.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! It worked," I let out a maniacal laugh as soon as the sky turned back to normal.
It worked! I had won the gamble! No, a better expression would be beating the system!
"Fuck," I let out a breath before more system panels appeared in front of me.
