The situation worsened as the snowstorm lasted much longer than anyone had anticipated.
Brother Elias and General Kaiser were supposed to leave today, but the heavy snowfall delayed them, postponing their return to the military base.
The path from the base to the Camel Tower had already been challenging, and now, returning in this severe weather was far too risky.
Although they were eager to report the critical news to the other generals, staying safe had to come first.
"What a crazy timing! Of all the days, a snowstorm had to hit just when we're about to return," General Kaiser muttered, staring at the thick snow piling up outside.
"General, we're running low on firewood. Should we go buy more?"
"Alright. Come with me," he said, then paused. "Wait—did Paradise open today?"
"Yes, General. I went to check earlier. It's open."
Luckily for them, the Paradise Shop remained open, letting them buy more supplies and essentials to cope with the extreme cold.
