When out on missions, they might have to work with others, some stronger and some weaker. Many times, they might also have to curb their arrogance just to get the job done.
Comparing the people in the Pink side to those in the Purple, one could see the difference between them.
The pink has less casualties, because they worked together in the Cabins. While purple has more, because they only looked out for their individual teams… allowing a majority of those in the weaker groups to perish.
