When we finally woke up a few hours later, I was shocked to see that it was almost noon.
"How did we sleep in so long?!" I exclaimed as I hopped out of bed to get changed back into my office clothes.
"Hmm?" Christian woke up from my outburst. "Noon already? Damn, that was some of the best sleep of my life."
He turned to his side and watched me frantically run around to get dressed.
"Excited for your shopping trip?" he asked teasingly.
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, you have no idea." My words were filled with sarcasm, causing him to let out a low chuckle.
"Do you want me to be the big bad boss and tell them that I changed my mind? You can stay here with me. I'll clear my schedule and we can have some fun."
"As wonderful as that sounds, unfortunately, it's a bit late. The driver just messaged me that he's here," I replied, putting my phone back into my purse.
Christian pretended to pout, "At least let me kiss you before you go."
