Chapter 40 - Beef Noodles Arrives

Normally, someone at the Foundation Establishment Realm could easily slaughter hundreds of cultivators in the Spirit Vein Realm. Even if hundreds of Spirit Vein Realm cultivators joined forces, they wouldn't be able to harm even a single hair of someone in the Foundation Establishment Realm.

But there were always exceptions. Some people were born with special physiques, others carried ancient bloodlines that defied logic.

Ronal had once seen a Sea Race creature with the terrifying bloodline of the Ancient Sea Race. When it was still at the Spirit Vein Realm, it had already been able to suppress Foundation Establishment cultivators. A hundred years had passed, and while Ronal had only just stepped into Foundation Establishment, that existence had long reached the peak of the Sea Race, becoming one of its rulers.

The gap between natural talent was absolute.

He Yiming's thunder had pierced through his powerful body. There was only one explanation,he possessed the Heavenly Thunder Body.

Ronal laughed, a deep, guttural sound filled with excitement. "A genius with a Heavenly Thunder Body, right in front of me… What luck! If you were given another ten years, if you managed to form your foundation, I'd have no chance against you. But now? After I eat you and drain your blood, I will inherit the power of the Heavenly Thunder Body myself!" His laughter grew wilder, eyes filled with an insatiable hunger.

He Yiming's expression darkened.

He had gambled everything on the Heavenly Thunder Technique, yet his opponent stood before him, unharmed. If anything, he looked even more eager to kill him.

The battle turned one-sided. Ronal's blows became heavier, faster. He Yiming barely dodged, narrowly avoiding death again and again. The Colored Arm absorbed most of the damage, but the strain was immense. Every movement sent pain shooting through his body. His breathing grew ragged. His strength was running out.

He tried to unleash the Heavenly Thunder Technique again, but Ronal was ready this time. His speed made it impossible to land a hit.

"Brother Ming can't hold on anymore!"

"Someone help him!"

"Let's go together!"

The players watching from a distance grew anxious. Some struggled to their feet, ready to rush forward, but they barely took a few steps before they were blasted into mist.

Ronal hadn't even been trying before. Now that he was serious, a single attack could erase a player from existence.

First Ice Man raised his bow and fired Frost Arrows, but they only hit empty air. Ronal moved too fast. Wang Lufei, newly resurrected, tried to intercept him but was swatted away instantly, his body exploding in a spray of blood.

The players fell silent.

"It's over…"

"Brother Ming is going to die."

"This mission is going to fail."

He Yiming stood in the center of the battlefield, covered in blood. His vision blurred. Every muscle screamed in pain. He was at his limit.

Then—

"I'm coming!"

A familiar voice echoed across the battlefield.

Beef Noodle emerged from a tunnel, looking disoriented. "Damn, I got lost in my own dam…"

A pause.

"Hold the grass, Brother Noodle is here!"

"Brother Noodle made it just in time!"

"But it's useless! Brother Ming is still going to die!"

The players erupted in chaos, some excited, others despairing. All eyes turned to Beef Noodle.

Ronal barely spared him a glance. Another weakling from the Body Forging Realm.

He turned his attention back to He Yiming. A few more rounds, and this human sect master would be dead.

"Hey, you overgrown fish! Come hit me!"

Ronal stopped.

Did this insect just call him an idiot?

For a brief moment, his bloodlust flared. His massive body tensed, ready to crush the fool with a single swipe. But then he hesitated.

No. This was a trick.

He had lived too long, fought too many battles, to fall for such a cheap provocation. His instincts, honed over a century, warned him against wasting energy on something so insignificant.

He smirked. "A distraction? Hah… pathetic."

He turned back to He Yiming, raising a clawed hand for the finishing blow.

"Hold the grass! Did you see that? The Sea Race idiot is scared!"

"He doesn't even dare to look at Brother Noodle!"

"This fish-brained fool doesn't even realize he's already lost!"

Beef Noodle stepped forward, smirking. "Hey, big guy. I'll just stand here. Barehanded. Do you dare to touch a single hair on my head?"

Ronal twitched.

"What's wrong? You scared?" Beef Noodle's grin widened.

More players joined in.

"Yeah! The Sea Race is a bunch of cowards!"

"Come on, big guy, don't just stand there! Hit me!"

"Do you even have the guts?!"

Laughter filled the battlefield, sharp and mocking.

Ronal's breathing grew heavy.

The veins on his forehead bulged.

His claws clenched.

And then

Beef Noodle spoke the final, fatal phrase.
