LIAM'S POV
It had been a month — a whole month of constant training with Kaelith. To be honest, he hadn't talked much, not really, and I myself had deliberately refrained from asking too many questions, no matter how useful they might be to me.
Since the last time I saw Alexis and her grandmother, I hadn't seen either of them again. It was as if they had completely vanished from the Luminarch Order. Yet, somehow, I knew they were still here—still in the realm. They were just... incredibly secretive. But that secrecy was only temporary, I was sure of it.
"Today's the last day of your training. I'm glad you've come this far," came a familiar voice. At that moment, I recognized it—it was the Archmage.
"Archmage," I said softly, a small smile tugging at my lips.
"Yes, Master Liam. The battle is coming up in just a few days, and the Queen Mother should be here soon."
