PRESENT DAY
This book had taught me so much about the realms, my duty, and everything connected to this curse. Whatever it was that I carried—it was called the Hybrid curse. It was a curse placed on me even before I was born. No matter the situation, I could never escape this reality. And in that moment, a deep sense of responsibility—one that hadn't been there before—dawned on me.
After finishing the usual chant, I went off to sleep, following the routine I'd maintained ever since discovering the revelations hidden within the Book of the Awakening Soul.
