Chapter 72 - side story-1

After Adi and Riya's marriage, they moved to Adi's house where Prahansika also lived. Adi rarely stayed in this house. He did not like staying here.

Also, there was a reason for Adi to buy another house. One was that it was near the college from where he could easily commute daily.

And there was another reason, or rather say, it was Riya. Adi could easily bring Riya to this house. Although he had no wrong intention. He just wanted to spend as much time as possible with Riya.

There was a very interesting story behind buying this house. That night when he met Adi in the pub, at first he did not recognize Riya.

But when he saw Riya's locket, he immediately recognized Riya. Whatever happened after that became a fresh memory for Adi.

So that day after meeting Riya in college and knowing about her condition, Adi had decided that he would stay around Riya and take care of her.

So he started looking at the houses around that area. Meanwhile someone told Adi about his current house.

When Adi reached to see that house and knocked the gate, a woman came out of that house. The man with Adi told that this woman is greedy and naughty.

After this when Adi asked her to see the house, at first she did not welcome him properly. Then when Adi did not agree, she asked for a lot of money from Adi.

Adi did not have any shortage of money. He was about to say yes for a moment but one thing that the woman said ruined Adi's mood.

And made him very angry. The woman said, "People like you come to see this house everyday. You don't have money. You just raised your head and came. People like you are not even capable of cleaning my shoes. It is my greatness that I am letting you come to this house."

Adi could tolerate everything but he could not tolerate if someone said anything to his family. Adi came out from there without saying anything.

As soon as he came out, Adi called someone, and in a short while a man came. He had a file in his hand. Adi opened that file and started looking at the papers inside one by one.

Adi started laughing after seeing those papers. After that he went inside that house without knocking. The woman got angry after seeing someone coming to her house suddenly.

She came towards Adi and started telling Adi and the men who were with him to come out, but it seemed as if her words were not having any effect on anyone.

When the woman saw that even after saying so much, the three of them were not going out of the house, she started threatening Adi and others with police.

The woman said, "How did you enter someone's house like this? Now quietly go out of here immediately or else I will call the police. I will not be responsible for whatever happens to you after that."

Adi started laughing after listening to the woman. He quietly went and sat on a sofa in that house. Then the man who had brought the file came forward and said, "Even if you want, you cannot make us come out of this house."

Now that woman was very angry. Hearing so much noise, people living in the nearby houses/flats also stood outside that woman's house. When that woman saw that a huge crowd had gathered, she herself became helpless.

Now that woman was very angry. Hearing so much noise, the people of nearby houses/flats also stood outside that woman's house. When that woman saw that a huge crowd had gathered, she herself became helpless.

She thought of putting all the blame on Adi and his friends. Where else could she get a better audience than this today?

This would have fulfilled two purposes of that woman. Firstly, everyone would start supporting her. Due to which she would throw Adi and others out very easily.

And secondly, by accusing them of entering her house without permission, she could extort a huge amount from them. Now she could see a lot of money in front of her.

On which she could sleep herself, and no one would ask for a share from her. Now she was feeling very happy in her heart, but she controlled herself in front of everyone.

And she pretended to cry and said, "First of all I live alone in this house. You people came to the house of a poor and lonely woman without informing me, and threw me out of my house. Now where will I go? What will I do?"

The people standing nearby started talking among themselves. The woman was not able to understand the whispers of the people, but she felt that everyone was with her.

So she continued her acting. She further said, "You people are enjoying trying your power on a poor and lonely woman, aren't you?"

Then on hearing these words of the woman, the dealer who came with Adi said, "We had come here only to see this house. You are the one who misbehaved with them, and now you are calling yourself poor."

The woman's face changed colour after listening to the dealer but she controlled herself and said, "What did I do to you people? You had come to buy this house. I did not like your offer. That is why I refused you.

After that you forcefully entered my house and started vandalising it." The dealer could no longer tolerate the fact that the woman was using his false name.

Every person standing there could clearly see inside the house that the luggage was lying as it was. Adi was still sitting on the same sofa.

Even after all this, he did not say a single word. Due to which the courage of that woman was greatly reduced. Pointing her finger towards the dealer, she said, "If I am lying, then why is your man silent for so long? He is silent because he knows that he is wrong."

Before the woman could say anything further, a man came from outside and said to the woman, "He can do anything in this house. After all, he is the owner of this house."

The woman said angrily, "How can he be the owner of this house? I am the owner of this house."
