He is calm. He is too calm, and I feel like ripping my hair out, but also curling up on the floor and not moving for hours.
"You know," he starts, and he has this little smile. "When we were talking about the ways we will change the other day, I thought of all the ways I will change after today. How much of a different person I will become because it's inevitable.
"Plus, I am looking forward to it. Miko, don't you understand that there is no place for two boys to love each other in this world of ours? Do you honestly believe that we could walk out there, together, happy, and believe that we will be accepted?"
"Yes!" I shout before pressing my fist to my forehead. "I believe that if you feel the same way about me, we will be okay. No one needs to know about us. We can do this. It's only me and you in this."
