Deep beneath the Mercurius Palace, the fierce battle between Noel and the King's forces continued.
However, with a clear advantage in strength, Noel's group had already gained the upper hand.
Barring any unexpected developments, it was only a matter of time before they eliminated the remaining King's forces and the Garou Knights.
"Damn criminals! Is there really no way to defeat them?"
The armored man of the Garou Knights gritted his teeth in frustration.
"Give it up. You're not stopping us."
After sending several royal soldiers flying with a single punch, Natsu seemed to have overheard the armored man's muttering and shouted back at him.
At that moment, a sudden sense of unease struck Noel, as if something dangerous was drawing near.
There was no clear sign of it, yet an instinctual warning surged within him, making him increasingly wary.
Ding—
A faint yet unmistakable sound rang through the crowd.
The instant it reached their ears, every single one of the King's soldiers froze in place, their eyes losing focus as if they had turned into statues.
The remaining members of Noel's group, along with the Garou Knights, widened their eyes at the eerie scene, their gazes darting around in alarm.
They all understood one thing—this was undoubtedly the work of a powerful mage.
And for someone to incapacitate the entire royal army in an instant… such power was beyond ordinary comprehension.
.............
On a mountain not far from Fiore.
Suddenly, as if realizing something, Jellal abruptly lifted his head, his face filled with shock.
"What is it, Jellal?" Ultear, noticing his reaction, asked.
"I can't believe I overlooked something so simple..." Jellal murmured to himself, his expression dazed.
"What exactly is it?"
Jellal spoke softly, "Ishu said he arrived here on July 4th, and it was his first time in Crocus."
"But if mysterious magic has been detected every year, yet Ishu only arrived in Crocus recently…?!"
"This is strange. And another thing—he arrived in the early hours of the 4th... In that case, the mysterious magic I sensed on the evening of July 3rd was...?"
.............
In the plaza of the Mercurius Palace, a massive temple had risen from the depths, now standing silently on the surface.
Princess Hisui and Darton led a group of royal soldiers, standing guard over the temple.
"Princess."
A familiar voice rang out, drawing everyone's attention to its source.
There, clad in armor, Arcadios was approaching at a steady pace.
"Lord Arcadios!" A soldier among the guards gasped in surprise.
"I'm glad you're safe." Seeing Arcadios, Hisui's face lit up with joy.
Darton, on the other hand, looked slightly awkward as he spoke, "Colonel, about what happened in Naraku Palace… That was… due to my prejudice."
"Forget about it," Arcadios interrupted calmly.
Then, with a composed expression, he asked, "Is everyone gathered here aware of the 'Eclipse 2' plan?"
"Yes. I'm currently in the process of informing the entire Garou Knights as well—we should notify them as soon as possible," Hisui replied.
"More importantly, we're about to enter the final stage of the 'Eclipse 2' plan."
"Indeed. The method that person spoke of… is about to become reality."
A faint smile appeared on Arcadios face.
Yet, apart from him, no one else understood the true meaning behind that smile.
…
"On the evening of the 3rd, the figure I saw wasn't Ishu!" Jellal said gravely.
"There was someone else!"
"Someone else?!"
"What's going on?!"
Ultear and Meredy both realized something was seriously wrong.
"What is that other person's true goal? And what connection do they have to the anomalies in the Grand Magic Games over the past seven years?"
A faint cold sweat formed on Jellal's forehead.
................
"What a lively scene. What do you think, Garlos?" A crisp female voice rang out.
Everyone turned toward the source of the voice and saw a man and a woman standing at the entrance of the passage, their expressions calm as they gazed at the remaining people.
"The Third Throne, Garlos. The Fourth Throne, Stella."
The moment Ishu saw them, his expression turned extremely grim, and he spoke their names.
Upon hearing Ishu's words, the members of Fairy Tail's expressions shifted—they immediately understood who these newcomers were.
"It's been a long time, hasn't it, Ishu? And Your Majesty, Nord."
Garlos narrowed his eyes slightly, a faint smile appearing on his lips, as if greeting an old friend.
"So, you've arrived here… Well, I suppose it makes sense. If we count the time, it should be about now." Ishu let out a bitter smile.
"We're here to witness the arrival of the end," Stella said casually.
"Who are you? Why are you here?"
Seeing the unexpected arrival of Stella and Garlos, one of the armored men from the Garou Knights furrowed his brows.
Though he knew these two were not ordinary individuals, as a knight of the kingdom, he still questioned them without hesitation.
At the knight's words, Garlos finally shifted his gaze toward the members of the Garou Knights, then chuckled lightly.
"Stella, it seems you didn't take care of all of them."
"Controlling so many people at once is exhausting," Stella shrugged, replying without the slightest hint of guilt.
"Besides, getting rid of nuisances should be more your specialty, shouldn't it?"
"Alright, alright, whatever you say." Garlos shook his head helplessly, then extended his palm toward the kingdom's soldiers and the Garou Knights, speaking softly: "[Spatial Transfer]."
The moment Garlos finished speaking, a sudden shattering sound echoed through the air.
Immediately after, every person present—except for the members of Fairy Tail—vanished.
It was not a metaphorical disappearance but a literal one.
"How is this possible?! What just happened?!" Lucy, Wendy, and the others wore expressions of shock.
"Don't worry, they've just been relocated somewhere else. It's similar to the magic that Minerva from Sabertooth uses."
Noel's calm words reassured Lucy, Wendy, and the others, who had only been momentarily overwhelmed by the bizarre spectacle.
However, with Noel's keen perception, he could see through Garlos's trick at a glance.
"As expected of Your Majesty, Nord." Garlos clapped his hands, offering an insincere compliment.
His brown eyes gleamed with a sharp light as he softly declared,
"Now then, let's begin. We won't let you two pass—Your Majesty Nord, and you as well, Ishu."
