"Is there a problem?" he asked and I looked up with a small smile.
"No. You were saying something." I pushed a strand of hair behind my ear and noticed his gaze following the movement of my hand.
"Are you sure you wanna hear it now? Or is it a bad timing?"
"Uh-I am sure." My heart started racing for some reason.
"Are you comfortable here?" He angled his body towards me and we faced each other while the blizzard raged outside.
"Yeah."
He looked down briefly with a half smile before letting out a long breath.
Is he nervous?
"Okay. I hope you won't run away from me after I finish talking." He watched me hopefully while I just blinked. "You won't. Right?"
I shook my head slowly and bit my bottom lip. My fingers started fidgeting with the fabric of the blanket. Now I was nervous too.
"Hey. Don't be nervous. You're completely safe." He put his hand on mine and curled his fingers firmly in a silent assurance that everything was fine.
