"Because you haven't been answering my calls," Melissa replied bluntly, brushing past Zara and into the living room like she owned the place.
Zara blinked, stunned, slowly closing the door behind her as her eyes followed Melissa.
"Calls? You called me?" she asked, confused.
"All through yesterday and this morning," Melissa replied, already making herself comfortable on the couch.
Zara glanced around the room, only just realizing she never got her phone back from Zavier last night. She sighed. "But that doesn't give you the right to come barging into my house. What if Nana had been home? She knows you."
"Exactly why I came now," Melissa said, crossing one leg over the other with a smirk. "I knew she already took the kids to school."
Zara stared at her, speechless.
Melissa leaned forward. "I came bearing good news."
With a tired sigh, Zara dropped onto the couch opposite her.
