"What are you doing to her?" Kendrick barked, storming toward the door and pulling Zara into his arms.
Only then did he notice— she was completely drunk.
Zara slumped into his chest, giggling, "Umm, nice chest. Why does this feel so familiar?"
Her hand trailed across his shirt, patting his chest like it was a pillow. Kendrick's face flushed.
Ace rolled his eyes, scoffing, "Now what are you doing to her?"
Kendrick sighed and gently lifted her up. Her legs automatically wrapped around his waist.
"Oh, Kendrick! I remember now," she mumbled, nuzzling into his neck. "Last night was so good... I can still feel your lips on me."
Kendrick's eyes met Ace's. One full of embarrassment, the other burning with anger.
Ace's jaw tightened.
"Let me take you to your room," Kendrick muttered, breaking the gaze and heading up the stairs.
Ace stepped inside uninvited, eyes locked on Kendrick's back.
'They're not even hiding it anymore? Great.'
