The next day, Yi Luowa slept in until eight o'clock. She turned her head to see that Tong Airui was still in bed. She blinked, trying hard to recall what had happened last night... Yi Luowa shifted under the covers; although it didn't hurt as much anymore, it still felt a little uncomfortable. What bothered her the most was her legs, which seemed like they didn't belong to her anymore.
Tong Airui slowly opened his eyes and turned his head toward her. "Does it still hurt? You fell asleep last night, so I applied the medicine for you again."
Yi Luowa looked at him pitifully. "I think my legs are done for."
"I'll be your legs." Tong Airui hugged her apologetically.
Yi Luowa wriggled in his arms. "What time is it? Why haven't you gone to work yet?"
Tong Airui gently patted her shoulder. "I'm on sick leave today."
Yi Luowa asked worriedly, "What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"
