Easton Holmes wasn't gone long before he came out of the supermarket, carrying a large bag in one hand and holding a plush toy in the other.
Since he was at a distance, Lily Turner couldn't clearly see what was in the plastic bag or identify the plush toy he was holding.
"The supermarket is having a promotion today, you can have this toy." As soon as he got into the car, Easton Holmes stuffed the plush toy he was holding into Lily Turner's arms. He had bought it specifically to make her happy, yet he was too proud to admit it.
Lily Turner looked down at the plush toy that had just been pushed into her arms, and only then did she see it was a teddy bear, her favorite plush toy.
"Thank you!"
She didn't question whether there was actually a promotion at the supermarket. Unexpectedly receiving a toy she liked made her particularly happy, and she smiled while thanking the man who gave her the toy.
