Looking at the documents before him, which had piled up over the past few days, many of them quite important, he felt his mood sour as even his secretary had to work overtime. He spoke bluntly, "Spit it out if you have something to say, I'm damn busy."
Lu Jingchen, however, was unhurried, and spoke casually, "I seem to have forgotten what I was going to say. Let me think for a moment."
Xi Mohan, "...Lu Jingchen, have you gone stupid? What's the call for? If you're not going to say it, I'm hanging up." He'd been at the hospital with Ning Wan these past few days, which left much of his company work incomplete, only managing to come in to catch up on Saturday.
Lu Jingchen remained silent.
